Described as The Good Place meets Swiss Army Man, He’s Dead feels like one of the wild, brash, R-rated comedies of the 80s run through a modern-day filter.

He’s Dead started as an idea scribbled in a notebook nearly fifteen years ago. Flash forward to January, 2019 when Directors Gabe Casdorph & Gabe Martinez were finalizing pre-production on what was to be their first feature, when out of nowhere, funding completely fell apart.
After crying and eating nearly 200lbs of beef ribs and elk jerky between them, the boys decided to pivot and make something entirely on their own.
Marty went to work turning his idea for a movie about a pair of derelict ghosts into a full-fledged script in a matter of days. The duo set fire to the first draft and workshopped nearly a dozen new drafts until He’s Dead became a story they really wanted to tell.
